Welcome to Wool School, our newest Knitspot yarn club...
Yes, we’re going back to school…Wool School, that is. In this club you will explore and knit with single breed wools in their shades in a variety of weights. Experience American grown and spun fiber at its best!
Learn about wool types, sheep breeds, spinning techniques, and more while knitting exclusive Anne Hanson patterns. Anne will thoughtfully design each pattern with the yarn weight and characteristic in mind. In this club, you will learn more about complementing the right fiber with the right yarn weight to produce a knitted item that will earn you an A+!
Your homework, aka, your projects, will include in depth study of stitch patterns and construction. This will be a class you won’t want to skip!
There are two levels of club membership: our yarn memberships include three bi-monthly installments delivered right to your door. The extra yarn option doubles your yarn order and allows for knitting coordinating pieces, multiples, or larger sizes of the club design. There will be one yarn per installment of this club; substitutions will not be possible.
Yarns will be accompanied by exclusive Knitspot patterns. Patterns will remain exclusive for six months following the shipment/publication date. Please note, no eBook or (pattern-only) option will be available until the exclusivity period ends.
When does it start?
First installment ships mid February
Second installment ships mid April
Third installment ships mid June
What will I receive:
For each shipment, you will receive: a full 4 ounce skein of undyed yarn in either fingering, DK, or lace weight, and an exclusive Anne Hanson pattern, designed for each club yarn.
A project tote will be included with the first installment.
You’re also encouraged to join our 2019 Ravelry Clubhouse. This is a special group where members can hang out to knit along and chat with each other over club projects. Share your progress, successes, and make new friends with fellow clubbies around the world!
Anne and team have been working hard on the preparations for this club in partnership with farmers and domestic mills to produce custom-spun skeins from our hands to yours. RSVP now—this club has limited spaces and will fill up fast!
