Winding Diamonds

A pretty diagonal lace pattern winds down the leg and over the top of the foot in these dressy top-down socks for three sizes. Knit with a fine yarn for a thinner fabric, these will feel closer to a stocking or trouser sock, but with a cozy warmth and sturdiness for all-day wear.
Substitung yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.

Suggested Yarns: Spritely Goods Sylph, Fearless Fiber’s Superwash Merino Sock, Shivaya Naturals Superwash Merino Sock or Bamboo Superwash Merino, Rock Creek Simply Sock or Sweet Feet, Lisa Souza Sock, or any fine sock yarn with 500 yards per 100 grams.

Finished Size: 7.5(8.5, 9.5) inches in circumference to fit feet measuring up to 8.5(9.5, 10.5) around

Yarn requirements: 325(375, 425) yards

Gauge: 34 sts and 50 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Needles: DPNs size US1 (2.25 mm), or size to obtain correct gauge
