Tottering Cables

An amusing pattern of tilting cable ribs makes its drunken way down the leg and over the foot of this top-down sock in five sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL). Openwork insets at the center of each cable create additional texture and lend an airy touch to the pattern when stretched.
Sock is easily converted to toe-up construction, as the pattern is vertically reversible.
Substituting needles and/or yarn may result in an overall variation in size.

5.5(7, 8.5, 9.5, 11) inches in circumference, to fit feet measuring up to 7(8, 9.5, 10.5, 12) inches around

Yarn Requirements: 325(375, 425, 475, 525) yds

Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rows = 4” in stockinette

Needles: DPNs size US1 (2.25mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.
