The Sock Pattern to End All Sock Patterns

This sock knitting pattern will help you achieve a personalized fit with the yarn and needles of your choice. It may be further customized by using a 2, 4, 6, or 8-stitch pattern in the cuff, rather than the 2-by-2 rib suggested (6 and 8-stitch patterns do not work with every size); includes a worksheet for figuring size according to gauge swatch.

Suggested Yarns: DK, Sport or Fingering weight yarn of choice, suitable for socks

Yarn Requirements: 100 to 300 yards for children’s sizes; 300 to 500 yards for adult sizes smaller sizes and/or heavier yarns in each category will require the lesser yardages; larger sizes and/or finer yarns will require the higher yardages

Needles: choose DPNs according to yarn label, or personal knitting gauge
