Snowflakes in Cedarwoods Lace Shawl

A square shawl featuring an array of swirling snowflake and pine motifs. Shawl is worked from the center out to hem edge in the round, and has an applied (knitted on) lace edging at the outer border. Recommended for solid or handpainted yarns with very subtle color variations.
 
Suggested Yarns: Sweet Sheep Sweet Lace, Blue Moon Fiber Arts Laci, Fearless Fibers Merino Laceweight, Knitting Notions Merino Laceweight, Woolen Rabbit Merino Laceweight, Wooly Wonka Fibers Merino Laceweight, Lorna’s Laces Helen’s Lace, or any laceweight yarn which has approximately 250 yards per ounce

Width across straight edge (blocked) = 57 inches
Width across diagonal (blocked) = 80 inches

Yarn Requirements: 2600 yards (2300mts) of laceweight yarn that has 250 yards per ounce

Gauge: 30 sts and 44 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch worked back and forth in rows, unblocked
