Henley with a Twist

A slim-fitting three-season cable and lace henley in nine sizes (XXS, XS, S, M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X). The design features set-in sleeves, jewel neck, center front placket with close-set buttons, and inset body shaping. All pieces are knit flat, bottom up, and seamed. 
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in a variation in size.
 
Suggested Yarns: Knitting Notions Classic Merino Superwash Sport, Briar Rose Grandma’s Blessing or Sea Pearl, Woolen Rabbit Essence or Opulence, Mackintosh Skye or Mey, Sundara Sock Yarn, Fleece Artist Nova Wool, or any soft fingering/sport yarn that knits to the pattern gauge.

Finished Size: 29.5 (33, 36.5, 40, 43.5, 47, 50.5, 53.5, 57) inches/75(84, 93, 102, 110, 119, 128, 136, 145) cm in circumference around chest, buttoned and slightly stretched, to fit with 0-4 inches of ease

Yarn Requirements: 1150 (1350, 1550, 1750, 1950, 2150, 2400, 2650, 2900) yds/1050 (1250, 1450, 1600, 1800, 1950, 2200, 2450, 2650) m

Buttons: 8 flat buttons, .25 inches/0.6 cm in diameter

Gauge:
25 sts and 34 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette (unblocked), using larger needle
28 sts and 37 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in Cable Rib pattern (washed and blocked), using larger needle

Needles:
size 4US (3.5 mm) for body (or size to obtain correct gauge)
size 2US (2.75 mm) for trims (or two sizes smaller than body needle)
cable needle size 4US (3.5 mm) or smaller
