French Quarter Sock

Garter diamonds twine intricately around the upper leg of this sock in four sizes (S/M/L/XL), then separate to spiral down to the heel and over the top of the foot in chain ribs. The crisply-textured fabric with simple crossed stitches can be worked with or without a cable needle.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in sock size.

Suggested Yarns: Woolen Rabbit Kashmir, Dye Dreams Classy Sox or Luster Sox, Knitting Notions Superwash Sock, Fearless Fiber’s Superwash Merino Sock or Tight Twist Superwash Sock, Curious Creek Wasonga, Spritely Goods Sylph or Fey, Yarn Chef Bouillabaisse, Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Thin, Schaefer Anne, or any fine sock yarn which has 475-550 yards per 4 ounces.

Finished Size:
6.5(8, 9.5, 10) inches in circumference to fit feet measuring up to 7.5(9, 10.5, 11) inches around

Yarn Requirements: 350(400, 450, 500) yards

Gauge: 36 sts and 52 rows = 4” in stockinette

Needles: DPNs size US0 (2.0mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.
