A fine, nearly-weightless scarf in an openwork, alternating leaf pattern, knit in one piece.
Scarf maybe resized by adding or subtracting pattern repeats, or by using different weights of yarn and/or different needle sizes.

Suggested Yarns: Fibre Isle Niji, Louet Mooi, Ball and Skein Arequipa or hand-dyed Zephyr, Jade Sapphire Cashmere/Silk Laceweight, Posh Yarn Eva, Jaggerspun Zephyr, Blue Moon Fiber Arts Silk Thread II, Fearless Fibers Alpaca or Cashmere Laceweight, Dicentra Designs Alpaca Laceweight, or any laceweight yarn which has approximately 400 yards per 50 grams.

Finished Size: 10.5”W x 39”L (blocked and stretched)

Yarn Requirements: approximately 300 yards

Gauge: 24 sts and 40 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (unblocked; fabric will be relaxed)

Needles: size US3 (3.25 mm) or size to obtain gauge
