Acorn Stash Sock

A top-down sock to commemorate the fall season and the greedy activity of squirrels everywhere. An openwork pattern featuring acorn motifs extends down the leg and over the foot (pattern is not reversible for toe-up construction).

Suggested Yarns: Fearless Fiber’s Superwash Merino Sock yarn (shown above), Woolen Rabbit Lambswool or Merino Light Sock yarn, Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock, Koigu KPM, Socks that Rock Light, or any sock yarn which has 500 yards or more to 4 ounces.

Finished Size: 8” circumference, to fit feet measuring up to 9.5”
Sock length from top edge to bottom of heel = 10”
note: a change in yarn weight or needle size will cause a variation in size of sock.

Yarn requirements: 400 yds (360mts) of sock yarn which has 500 yds or more per 4 ounces

Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rows = 4” in stockinette

Needles: DPNs size US1 (2.25 mm), or size to obtain gauge
